The cafe was set up in September 2025 as a sister company to our restaurant. The cafe provides healthy vegan alternatives with a daily salad bar, fresh toasties, smoothies, speciality coffees & matchas and bakes. There is also a vegan shop area with unique products from local and indie businesses, including a vegan cheese fridge.
The cafe is part of the Enterprise Shopping Centre community and can be found in the middle of the ground floor of the centre. There are two paid car parks next to the shopping centre, and the train centre is less than a minute walk away. The Enterprise Shopping Centre plays host to a number of quirky small businesses and eateries and has an on-site landlord, maintenance team and admin office.
There are several brand new fridges and freezers - including a large countertop fridge - a beautiful Ibertial coffee machine, an ice machine, new furniture (to seat 14 people), a small kids play area, and original Singer sewing machine table and much more. Plumbing works were carried out in September 2025 to fit a brand new sink and under counter dishwasher. Business rates, water and most waste services are included in the rent price. Electricity rates are kept at a minimum - around £75 per month.
I am selling the cafe (and my restaurant) to take a short break from bricks and mortar and am taking my business on the road in my food truck. The cafe has been successful with a decent following accumulated despite only being there a short while.
The landlords have requested that in order to prevent competition, the cafe either remains vegan, or has a focus on health food and being an eco-conscious cafe. They have asked for all those interested to send a small business plan including their different offerings so the landlords can ensure there are no overlaps with other eateries.
