Business Details

Former Bed and Breakfast, Dufftown, the malt whisky capital

The Elms is an expansive, traditional Victorian stone house, situated in the heart of Dufftown, also known as the whisky capital of Scotland. The property boasts eight bedrooms, a charming lounge, and dining room, a substantial kitchen, and three bathrooms.

From 2009 to 2016, The Elms was successfully operated as a bed and breakfast with 2 to 3 rooms. During this period, it attracted a myriad of guests from around the globe, owing to its location in the whisky hub of Scotland and the exclusive service which it offered.

In 2016, the owners decided to add another venture to the esteemed property by establishing an upmarket cattery business. This new initiative, which took up two rooms of the second floor, quickly became highly sought-after. However, potential buyers should not be deterred as these rooms reserved for the cattery can be easily converted back into bedrooms if the new owners do not wish to continue with the business.

For further information regarding The Elms, interested parties should get in touch with Galbraith, Inverness. Please note that all enquiries should be directed to the agent.
