Bridlington Town FC is at the heart of the town’s community. Bridlington is approximately 40 miles east of York and 27 miles north of Hull. This picturesque seaside town in East Yorkshire is a popular tourist destination all year round and a growing, full time residential area for those working in and around the North and East Yorkshire regions. The club itself is situated in Dukes Park, a council owned sports facility.

The local area is undergoing vast amounts of residential and holiday development, making Bridlington an excellent location for a hospitality business.

The club occupies a very well maintained stadium.  There is a detached, licensed bar with a function room and multi screen TVs, and a large terrace looking onto the stadium.  

The Stadium
With a capacity of 2800 and in line with FA specifications for a club at this level. There is also a hospitality box, press box, medical facility and changing rooms.

The Clubhouse/Bar
An excellent facility with bags of potential and presented in excellent condition. With seating for in excess of 100 people, separate function room and well equipped commercial kitchen.  The bar can be utilised as a private hire venue for a range of events, including weddings and birthdays. Leading out from the clubhouse is a large terrace with pub benches and an excellent view of the pitch.  

Founded in 1918, just after the First World War, the club has the local community at its heart.   This is a well run club which has an average net turnover in the region of £175,000 and breaks even. However, there is excellent potential to push the business forward by promoting it as a function and private hire venue. The current chairman has operated the club for around 20 years and has now decided to take a step back, having turned the club’s finances around and secured FA grants for new changing and medical rooms. With local sponsorship deals, a hospitality box and private functions, the club is a great success story and needs someone at the helm to take it to the next level.
