It is a potential 'Bolt On' opportunity

Invaluable JLR vendor code

There is a c £1m per annum turnover in metal pressings and welded assemblies with a 27% gross profit. It has a very modern well- equipped factory, over 16,500 sq. ft.

The Equipment includes:-

  • Two large presses of up to 400 ton
  • Three Fanuc Robot MIG welders
  • One X Amada 4KW CNC Laser with large sheet auto stack (would cost £200K plus and new £500K)
  • One-off Amada CNC 3KW Laser
  • Two of 170 Ton Amada press brakes

All clients are loyal non - automotive without the usual cost and quality pressures. It includes a large US blue-chip client. The business has a strong order book for 2022 and has secured £130K of new business. So turnover is projected to be £1.1/£1.2m per annum. The business would be sold on an asset/goodwill basis [Not the ltd company], so the buyer would acquire 27% GM unless someone wanted to retain at the site.

It would not take a lot of effort to reach £2m plus within 12 -18 months. It is only with the concentrated sales effort. Then the business will make serious profits, operating under low overheads eg. rent c £3/sqft and all the above plant and equipment leased for £4K/month.

The shop floor personnel have excellent skills and need very little supervision. We also have a capable senior manager in place.

The building has eight months' lease remaining and is a modern facility/site with a large and secure car park and five minutes to all major motorway links. If the site is not required, the business can be transformed into another business as a 'bolt-on'.

The current private owner has several other businesses. Therefore he is seeking to sell to focus on the other ones. His work requires extensive travel.

Strictly NO timewasters, please.

Only serious purchasers will be forwarded details under an NDA and will need to provide outline details of how they can fund the purchase.

It is a fantastic opportunity for someone to grow this business with loyal clients in a sector that can be grown easily.
