Website Businesses is a unique business model which sells pre-made micro-saas websites. We have built a suite of no-code micro-saas which are re-skinned and then marketed for different industries and niches. We have operated this on a part time basis for just under 1 year initially starting selling e-commerce startups through eBay before building a complete porftfolio of products around micro-saas and AI.
We have achieved success with 5 specific types of micro-saas targeting various niche which are included in the ‘Playbook’ and included in the sale.
The idea
As a small team, we have always developed and built small side projects but we usually get side tracked and start on another before we actually gain any traction. We had built a number of e-commerce websites for clearly identified niche which included custom smartphone cases and personalised goods – these were launched and made a small income, however, our focus had switched and it became clear we could sustain them all.
Ths led us to create our business.
The SAAS
The products are all built using the popular no-code builder Bubble to ensure accessibility for all potential entrepreneurs and ease of management by ourselves. All our products are now based on using the OpenAI api which has a degree of interactivity and also a b2b and b2c appeal, which was key in our planning.
The micro-saas are created to allow the front end to be easily rebranded and marketed for a completely new target audience or, they can be sold as is, with the buyer required to make the changes.
The core saas which have generated the revenue are:
Social Media automation tools for individual industries
Email automation tool
Ecommerce platform for custom products
AI created story app
Product content generation
These have all been offered as start up pre-rev micro-saas with examples of uses are to the legal industry, travel and also education. Our initial business was focused on ecomeerce but the 4 months have seen success in AI-based products using the OpenAI API to build a product.
Average selling price varies by platform from $350 (self edited) up to $5000 for one of the ecommerce projects. The average selling price is around $700-$1000 (please note, we are based in the UK so prices are converted to USD)

Analysis of the above:
When I first started I was concentrating on ecommerce and secured some large purchases however, I had already started building more turnkey apps in October/November as this was the primary focus from January. Over the course of the last 4 months we have only sold the apps which are very easy and simple to sell and at a price point of around $700 - $1000 – and this is where the real profit and future growth lies.
The website leads generally find the listing on a 3rd party channel then click through to us from this source. The business has a very low cost per acquisition by using platforms which already have traffic.
We have not undertaken any paid marketing other than the marketplace ads as this was always intended to be a part time enterprise.
Whilst we have built and sold these as pre-revenue, the potential exists to operate one of these for a short period of time to increase the value with users.
Amongst the other apps included which have not been marketed for sale yet include Poetry app, CV creator and a tenant analysis tool.
I now spend around 6 hours per week on this now all the apps and systems are in place after having spent around 20 hours from August to December building the apps.
Marketing
We have marketed this business through 3rd party platforms as these are locations to which typical clients would look for such a business. This includes:
- Flippa – a few sales, low value.
- eBay – low value, lots of enquiries
- Businesses for Sale – High quality, very targeted traffic
- Side Projectors – Good quality, sporadic leads
- Tiny Acquisition – Very few leads
- Acquire – high quality
Examples of the template Apps which are included in the sale are below. These are all the generic app which can be reskinned and marketed to different industries (Legal, Healthcare etc):
Email generation - https://ai-emails.bubbleapps.io/version-test?debug_mode=true
Social Media Content - https://socialsplanner.bubbleapps.io/version-test?debug_mode=true
Automated social media content - https://socialstoemails.bubbleapps.io/version-test?debug_mode=true
AI Story creation (VERY popular) - https://aistorycreator.bubbleapps.io/version-test?debug_mode=true
These have been sold to schools and could be directly marketed through outreach.
E-commerce content (this is focused on Drophsip niche) - https://dropshipcentralsystem.bubbleapps.io/version-test?debug_mode=true
Range of other potential markets including Print on demand
Poem Subscription - https://mypoemcreator.bubbleapps.io/version-test?debug_mode=true
This demonstrates an email list growth model which can be monetised through Ads – and be replicated to any other market.
All the designs and layouts are edited without any code using the Bubble editor so no design skills are needed.
What’s included
As we are a very niche business and sell mainly an platforms, our website is very under utilised. The sale includes:
- 6 x micro saas apps ready for sale/trade – these are apps which we have already sold so have verified a market. Very easy to sell by simply duplicating online and setting for new target market
- Website
- Our Bubble account (live since 2021)
- Small list of past lead enquiries (around 70-90 in total)
- Past client list
- Playbook of where and when to post the apps
- My list of planned industries per niche – we have around 40 for each app. We have only sold a fraction of the potential use cases
- Templates for adverts for the different platforms
- Canva templates for personalised goods (around 20)
- Print on demand assets (acquired but never utlised)
- Ecommerce templates (Wordpress in zip files)
See below a loom video of the backend and the ease at which apps can be edited:
Social emails – https://www.loom.com/share/4037d4560def437fa4dd8031638e7587.
In addition, we have a guide and videos on the exact steps required for each app setup which takes no more than 30 minutes.
Potential growth
We have operated this on a part time basis so have limited capacity to offer any other services although, if asked, we can undertake. Many of our clients take the apps and websites on as a side hustle as they are an affordable option.
Offering a full add-on marketing and social media package is something we could have included and often considered. The price of these could have doubled the revenue and offered a monthly income – this is not possible alongside our main business.
Maintenance plans are also another avenue I have considered but instead provide tutorial videos to clients.
The largest opportunity certainly exists in undertaking some paid marketing to grow on Google and drive some very targeted traffic.

Fraudsters will typically use false news in an attempt to get you to act quickly. For example, 'Your account has been disabled. Reset your password now.'.
