This is an exciting new opportunity to take the reins of our well-established and profitable small business, Il Forno Pizza’s. Currently located in North Cornwall, we established the business 9 years ago and after many happy years of trading are offering it for sale so that we can pursue our other business interests.

We have operated the business on a seasonal basis, working throughout the busy summer months. With a fixed rotation of 7 sites a week comprising of two local villages and five popular campsites in Cornwall, we have built a loyal customer base and developed a well-respected brand. Making the most of the high volume of customers on holiday and offering great value for money, we have a turnover of circa £50000 for the peak 7-week season. This is achieved by serving wood fired pizzas from the authentic oven, with high capacity to cook up to 6 12” pizzas at a time. Currently serving 5pm to 9pm slots, we would look to do an average of 100/150 pizzas per night, but during peak nights, could do up to 200 pizzas.

We have run the business as a couple from the beginning and have had an assistant on busy evenings to help with taking orders and payments.  With minimal, or no competition, from similar businesses and no pitch fees, we have minimal overheads, and this approach has kept our business model low risk and stress free. Over 9 years we have developed an exceptionally strong reputation with the local community in the villages and with the campsite owners who have seen the business as adding value to their facilities.

Whilst most of our revenue comes from the village/campsite trade, during the shoulder seasons we have also catered for weddings, private parties, festivals, county shows and events, to supplement the income. The potential to operate in a similar way to our current set up is an excellent opportunity, or the business is fully relocatable to be run in another location or to focus more on the festival/events/wedding circuits.

Our sale price includes a Jeep Grand Cherokee, which we use to pull the oven, the gazebo and catering equipment used to set up and operate, so the business is ready to go.  All of the equipment is currently stored in an airtight shipping container which is also where the oven is kept when it is not used, out season, which has ensured it has retained its excellent condition.
